THE BRAND NEW PAWC WEBSITE IS UP AND RUNNING!!!

Susan Griffith, a Florida-Friendly Landscaping Coordinator, will be the premiere speaker of the season.

We are proud to announce the release of our newly redesigned website – www.palm-airewomensclub.org. Webmaster Karen Oberne worked tirelessly to get the website up and running. She crafted it to reflect our members’ present and future needs.

Things you’ll love about the new website:

  • Homepage – at a glance, see contests, upcoming events, mix and mingles, recent news, requested donations and quick links to get to where you want to go with one click.
  • Membership Directory - you will find our members and their contact information easily without having to go searching for your little book.
  • Scholarships and Charities- you will be able to see the results of your hard work and fundraising efforts.
  • Photos - you will see photos of members at PAWC events. See how many you know.

Karen will continually be expanding our online content to bring you updated and relevant information. We encourage you to bookmark it, check back often and connect with us to receive notice when updates and new content are added.

The premiere meeting of the season is scheduled for Friday, October 13th and features a "Do You Know" contest. Each board member will introduce themselves and impart some fun and odd facts which are sure to entertain.

Our speaker, master gardener, Susan Griffith, a Florida-Friendly Landscaping Coordinator, from the Parks & Natural Resources Department will discuss "Gardening Made Simple", using Florida friendly plants. Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM (FFL) means using low-maintenance plants and environmentally sustainable practices. Learn how you can have a beautiful landscape that could save you time, energy and money while protecting our future.

This month the PAWC is collecting health kits for the homeless. Please donate toiletry supplies in a clear, plastic, zip-lock bag. Resurrection House will distribute the donations.

The Palm Aire Women's Club invites everyone to find out what we are about and get involved in helping our club continue to grow. This enables us to continue helping our community. Join us for a luncheon or a Mix and Mingle and check out the opportunities for Friendship, Fun and "Giving Back".

Remember, the PAWC usually meets on the second Friday of the month at 11AM from October to May. Membership is open year round and is not limited to Palm Aire Country Club members. For information, contact chairperson, Cecelia Massey. Dues are now $40 yearly.
