MELODIE DICKERSON AND THE STATE COLLEGE OF FLORIDA CHAMBER CHOIR WILL CELEBRATE THE SEASON AT THE DECEMBER 8^TH PAWC LUNCHEON.

The 4^th Annual Holly Jolly will take place December 10^th.

The December 8^th Holiday Luncheon will offer special seasonal entertainment provided by the award-winning State College of Florida Chamber Choir directed by the fabulous Ms. Melodie Dickerson. This is the same choir, you will remember, that was chosen to accompany Ms. Susan Boyle when she performed at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall during her first U. S. tour.

The choir will ring in the season with joyful holiday selections that highlight the talents of this outstanding choral group. This festive luncheon should not be missed. Tickets are $25.00. The fourth annual “HOLLY JOLLY OPEN HOUSE” has been scheduled for Sunday, December 10^th from 3-5 PM. This year, John and Julie Jakway of 5516 Inverness Drive, Sarasota, will turn their beautifully decorated home into a fantasy winter wonderland for this special fund-raising event. Tickets are only $20 per person and include wine, beer, soda, appetizers and desserts<./strong>. Please bring family and friends. This is a wonderful chance to get into the holiday spirit as you support your community. All money earned goes back into the community. The November luncheon was a resounding success. Members showed up in droves to play card and tile games. For the non-gamers, Elizabeth Player, from Energetic Organizing, showed how to declutter and arrange your home efficiently. She demonstrated how to fold and arrange clothes “standing up” in drawers to ensure that every piece is visible. Her philosophy is keep only the things that bring you joy. If you follow her rule, everything will have its own place, saving you time, energy and frustration.

Remember, the PAWC usually meets on the second Friday of the month at 11AM from October to May. Membership is open year round and is not limited to Palm Aire Country Club members. For information, contact chairperson, Cecelia Massey. Dues are now $40 yearly.
