"LA BELLEZZA ETERNA" PROVED TO BE A GALA EXTRAORDINAIRE!.

April 13th the Palm Aire Women’s Club will award six scholarships to deserving local students.

The Palm Aire Women’s Club, thanks to the generous contributions of its members, will continue its long tradition of awarding annual scholarships to deserving local students. Four 2-year scholarships will be awarded to State College of Florida students. Additionally, two scholarships will be given to Manatee Technical Institute students. Each student must attend school full-time and remain in good academic standing. The recipients and their mentors will be honored at the April 13th luncheon. This luncheon is an extremely important one, since the 2018/2019 PAWC board will also be elected. Make sure you attend so your voice will be heard.

Attendees will be entertained during the event by The State College of Florida Chamber Choir directed by Ms. Melodie Dickerson. This is the same choir, you will remember, that was chosen to accompany Ms. Susan Boyle when she performed at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall during her first U. S. tour. Luncheon reservations are $25.00. Send checks to PAWC, PO Box 21051, Bradenton, Fl 34204. For further information, contact Barbara Link.

"La Bellezza Eterna" proved to be a gala to remember. Fabulous fashions highlighted one of the most successful PAWC fashion shows ever!!! Co-chairs Peg McKinley and Patti Sue Peotter-Bettes worked tirelessly to ensure that all went smoothly. Their event featured fabulous fashions, innumerable raffles, and unique decorations designed by Sammy Ulbrick. Not a detail was overlooked to ensure the success of this event.

Aliki Gable, from Evelyn and Arthur was responsible for all the dazzling styles that local models (Peggy Carolli, Melodie Dickerson, Lynn Harrison, Mindy Hayes, Kay Kwenski, CeCe Massey and Sandy Ryan) displayed to the delight of the crowd. Aliki also proved to be a master stylist and demonstrated how her fashions made the models look amazing in fabulous, eye-catching looks. The styles were easy care and easy wear and still worthy of a fashionista. Best of all, everything is available at Evelyn and Arthur on Main Street in Sarasota.

Local businesses and the community came together to make La Bellezza Eterna possible.
