THE ROSEMARY YOUTH BALLET TROUPE WILL DANCE IN THE NEW YEAR AT THE JANUARY 12TH LUNCHEON.

The Holly Jolly Dec 10th is being held at a new venue (5516 Inverness Drive - 3 to 5) and will have a great turnout.

The PAWC announces the Second Annual End of the Year Campaign.

The Rosemary Youth Ballet is brand new dance company located in the Rosemary section of Sarasota. They offer young dancers training and performance opportunities helping them develop their talents. By doing this, they encourage a love for the arts. They help students develop confidence as well as teach them how to work individually and as part of a team.

A special group of these young dancers will be on hand to perform choreographies specially designed to highlight their developing talents. You will be privileged to see these dancers at the start of their careers.

In addition to viewing dancers, a surprise guest will be on hand to lead the audience onto the dance floor for some Latin dancing fun. This festive luncheon should not be missed. Tickets are $25.00. Checks should be sent to the PAWC in care of Barbara Link, P O Box 21051, Bradenton, FL 34204. Please contact Barbara to confirm your reservation.

This year, the PAWC is launching their second annual end of the year campaign. Last year, the club raised over $20,000 with the help of this campaign. This meant that 10 students received scholarships enabling them to complete their studies. Disadvantaged students in our own community could attend summer camps, go on school trips and get help with homework. Low income families and former foster care children received help with daily necessities. This year we are hoping to do more. The club simply can’t do it without help. Your support would make a real and lasting impact in the lives of neighbors who are in need. Your gift will keep on giving in your own community. To donate or to get more information please contact Peg McKinley. All donations go directly to charity.

“La Bellezza Eterna”, the PAWC Fashion Show and Luncheon will feature the fabulous fashions of top Sarasota retailer, Evelyn and Arthur. The exciting gala takes place February 16th. Enjoy an afternoon of fun, food and fashion while supporting worthwhile causes. Evelyn and Arthur’s fashions adapt New York chic to the Florida lifestyle. They are known for high-quality clothing and trend-setting styles. Having them provide the fashions will ensure that the “La Bellezza Eterna” show will be unforgettable.

Tickets are $50.00 including luncheon and are guaranteed to sell out early. Send your check to PAWC Fashion Show, PO Box 21051, Bradenton, Florida 34204 or contact Barbara Link for further information. Get your own ticket or reserve a table for you and your friends.

The PAWC fashion show attracts more attendees each year, but the club also depends upon the generosity of its friends in the community. Please consider taking an ad in the fashion brochure or donating items to be used for raffles and silent auctions. This organization’s ability to operate is largely due to the generosity of donors who want to contribute to our mission. Please contact Sally Reed for more information.

Remember, the PAWC usually meets on the second Friday of the month at 11AM from October to May. Membership is open year round and is not limited to Palm Aire Country Club members. For information, contact chairperson, Cecelia Massey. Dues are now $40 yearly.
