Nominating Committee Report for 2020-2021 Officers

The Committee is pleased to report that the following people have accepted Officer positions for the 2020-2021 year.

Dear PAWC Members,

As concern about the coronavirus, known as COVID-19, grows across the nation, the health and safety of our members and community has always been our priority. Currently there are no reported cases about our members but the CDC has noted that older people and people with underlying health conditions seem to be at greater risk of serious illness, we must take everyday precautions to protect ourselves and our community.

After careful consideration, and in the best interest of the PAWC Members, we will be canceling all activities in March. This includes our March 20th Program meeting along with the Book sale and the monthly Mix & Mingle.

I will be sending out later in the week the notice from Nominating Commitee of slate of officers with our 2020/2021 slate of PAWC Officers. Anyone that has already paid has the option make a donation, receive a credit for next month’s program or to be refunded.

We hope that the crisis will subside within the next couple of weeks and we will resume with our scheduled program meeting on April 17th with Scholarship Recipients, performance by the chamber choir from State College of Florida, Election of Officers, and the Book Sale.

As a follow-up to the president's email this morning, I would like you to know:

for those of you who made the reservation for the luncheon and have already sent in your check, you can request a credit. If your check hasn't been cashed yet, I can mail it back to you or you can put it towards next year's dues. Please let me know how you would like me to handle this.

$40 annual dues are now being collected for 20/21.

***After four years of Membership Chair, Cecelia Massey is moving back to the UK and Susan Pulver has taken over as the new Membership Chair. We wish Cecelia the best and thank her for her dedicated years handling membership.
