Sarasota’s prima ballerinas of the future showcased their grace and abilities in a series of dance vignettes for the PAWC at the January luncheon. Audience members were delighted with the performances of the Onyx Studio2 dancers whose ages ranged from 7 to 18. All present were impressed with the dancers and predicted bright futures on the professional stage for the group. After the young dancers performed, Javier Dubrocq, an instructor with the studio, took the stage and conducted a salsa lesson. Several PAWC members joined the ballerinas on stage and demonstrated their dancing abilities. All had a great time and asked for an encore performance.

Remember, the PAWC usually meets on the second Friday of the month at 11AM from October to May. Membership is open year round and is not limited to Palm Aire Country Club members. For information, contact chairperson, Cecelia Massey. Dues are now $40 yearly.
