This past year the PAWC did a remarkable job celebrating the holidays. Our third annual Holly Jolly gathering, chaired by Jan Ganz and Mary Ellen Thinnes, was an outstanding success. Mary Jo Steltmann opened her beautiful home to more than 130 PAWC members and guests. Mary Jo’s home was a true holiday delight with each room decorated to ensure that Santa would feel right at home. Everyone was in festive spirits as they wandered around and socialized in the fabulous 'winter wonderland'. An array of special hor d'oeuvres and desserts ensured that no one went home hungry. It was a great way to celebrate with fellow members as well as meet their significant others. It addition, all proceeds went to charity.

Our holiday happenings did not end there. At our December meeting, we were treated to a wonderful holiday concert performed by The Booker High School Chorus led by Denise Verheul.

Our 'Mix and Mingle' gatherings are growing more popular every month. Don’t miss the fun. Everyone is guaranteed a wonderful time. It’s also a great time for new and old members to get acquainted. Don’t miss the next one. Please check emails for dates and times.

Remember, the PAWC usually meets on the second Friday of the month at 11AM from October to May. Membership is open year round and is not limited to Palm Aire Country Club members. For information, contact chairperson, Cecelia Massey. Dues are now $40 yearly.
